WHY HAVE A CHILD EDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENT?

Psycho-Educational Assessments
Psycho-educational assessments are conducted by Purple Giraffe Psychology to investigate intellectual abilities and academic skills, investigating areas of Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD) such as reading (dyslexia), written expression (dysgraphia) and maths (dyscalculia) difficulties, and Learning Abilities such as giftedness. In addition, we investigate behaviour, such as ADHD and Adaptive Behaviour, that may also contribute to learning difficulties at school.
Our Services
Purple Giraffe Psychology provides comprehensive psychometric testing and reports, which can be essential in guiding parents and teachers to assist children with their learning and development.
Psycho-Educational Assessment
We work with parents and schools to assist in supporting students through conducting psychometric educational assessments.
ADHD Information
We can provide information and support for children experiencing difficulties with attention and concentration in school and/or at home.
Learning Difficulties Information
We can provide information regarding a wide range of learning difficulties, including Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dysgraphia.
Gifted Information
We can provide information and support for those children who are consistently working above the expected year level.

Purple Giraffe Psychology is a private psychology practice dedicated to supporting students presenting with learning difficulties (LD). LDs can present in various ways, impacting day-to-day learning, educational progress, behaviour and mental well-being.
